So my mom brought me to a surprise estate sale today!
I got an old WWII uniform jacket, but it’s unfortunately in kind of shitty condition. The good thing is that it was only $3. The bad thing is that there are buttons missing and there are a lot of moth holes in it. I’m thinking zombie soldier for Halloween. There are other parts of the uniform I’d need to get, like pants and shoes and the undershirt and tie, but I think I can manage without the hat.
I also got a little glass dome! I’m going to make a little fairy creature and hang it up on the hook at the top of the dome. I’m pretty proud of that.
I got a few old books, too. The sad thing is, there were a lot, but most of them were really moldy or in real shit condition, so I didn’t want to get them. I also got another old key and this red glass holy candle stick holder. It’s very strange looking, but I really like it!
My mom got another old trunk (I think she has about seven).
